Indianapolis Colts Superbowl 2020 Odds

Ready for some Indianapolis Colts Superbowl 2020 odds? The Indianapolis Colts finished last season with a 10-6 record. The record was good enough for second place in the AFC South standings. Despite their second-place finish, they were able to defeat the Texans in the playoffs. This before losing to the Kansas City Chiefs in the Divisional round.

After years of struggling to run the ball, the Colts finally had a balanced attack last season. This thanks to Marlon Mack. The RB rushed for 908 yards and seven touchdowns in 12 games, and Jordan Wilkins, who added 336 yards and one touchdown.

The team’s ability to run the ball also took a lot of pressure away from Andre Luck. Luck wasn’t forced to drop back on almost every play. Luck will have a new weapon to throw to this season with the team signing former Carolina Panthers receiver Devin Funchess, who is expected to be their number two receiver this season.

The Colts’ offensive line also improved drastically last season. Giving up a league-low 18 sacks. With the offense being so productive last season, the Colts were able to turn their attention to their defense this offseason, hoping to improve on a unit that 21.5 points per game last season.

The Colts improved their pass rush by signing former Kansas City Chiefs defensive end Justin Houston, who had nine sacks last season. They also resigned Pierre Desir and Clayton Geathers, who did their part to help the defense finish 11th in the league last season.

If the Colts can stay healthy and run the ball consistently like they did last season, they will be a difficult team to beat. However, they will also have to deal with the Houston Texans and Jacksonville Jaguars, who will be trying to bounce back from their disappointing 2018 campaign and signed former Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Nick Foles to lead the franchise back into the playoffs. The Colts Super Bowl odds is +1600.

Case Keenum Named Redskins Starter

With the regular season starting in less than a few days, the Washington Redskins announced that offseason acquisition Case Keenum will be their opening day starter.

Firstly, Keenum had been rumored to be the team’s starter. This is so veteran quarterback Colt McCoy has been unable to practice as he recovers from the broken leg he suffered in December. Also, rookie quarterback Dwayne Haskins, who has looked promising at times, will back up Keenum.

Keenum, who has started 54 games in his career, signed with the Denver Broncos last season. This after leading the Minnesota Vikings to the NFC Championship Game two seasons ago. Also, after going 11-3 as their starter. His time in Denver wasn’t as impressive and the team traded for former Baltimore Ravens quarterback Joe Flacco in the offseason, which made Keenum expendable.

Secondly, in the past two years he’s thrown a combined 40 touchdowns to 22 interceptions. Can he do it again?

“The experience factor is something you really lean upon, and Case has been productive in practice and some of the games,” Gruden said. “Case has come in here and picked up the offense extremely well; he had great confidence and command over the team. We have great confidence Case can lead us to a win against Philadelphia.”

Therefore, do the Redskins have a shot at Super Bowl 2020? Below, complete Washington betting odds for Super Bowl LIV. Keenum faced the Eagles in the 2017 NFC Championship game. However, the Eagles ended the Vikings’ season with a 38-7 win. Keenum threw two interceptions.

“I remember the feeling I had walking off the field,” Keenum said. “I don’t know if I can put it into words, but I’ve used it and plan on continuing to us it. It’s not a good feeling to get that close to what you dream of, to what everybody dreams of and to not get that next step. It was tough. But I’m definitely motivated.”

Veteran running back Adrian Peterson believes Keenum earned the starting quarterback job.

“Great leader in the huddle, just his work ethic and his knowledge of the offense,” Peterson said. “He’s deserving.”

Green Bay Packers 2020 NFL Preview

Today we start with a 2020 NFL preview of the Green Bay Packers. Also, a review of Green Bay Packers Super Bowl 2020 betting odds.

The Green Bay Packers recently added Matt LeFleur as their head coach to replace the Super Bowl winning Mike McCarthy. Many Green Bay fans were ready for a change at the head coaching position and NFL fans have highly touted Lafleur’s approach to the offence.

For example, when Lafleur was able to guide the LA Rams back to greatness on the offensive side of the ball, he rapidly took a job as the offensive coordinator with the Titans. Even though the Titans had problems last year, most of their wins came when the team was an underdog. This in itself is an impressive feat. When the Packers picked up LaFleur, you’d think that everything would be great. Even before the first whistle has been blown in the 2019 season, there are already rumblings in the Packers locker room about LaFleur’s approach to the game. Next, a 2020 NFL preview of the teams to bet on.

2020 NFL Season Preview of the Green Bay Packers

Green Bay Packers 2020 NFL Preview

Do this years Green Bay Packers have a shot at Super Bowl 2020?

Even starting quarterback Aaron Rodgers has voiced his doubts over LaFleur’s approach to football. This is concerning because if the team chemistry isn’t there, LaFleur could have a short season as the Packers head coach. If all of the rumors about the locker room being upset are untrue, perhaps LaFleur will prove the critics wrong by leading the Packers back into the playoffs and perhaps the Super Bowl.

It really makes you wonder if LaFleur is the answer to all of the Packers problems. If you go back and watch the Packers from season’s in the past, it seemed like everything bad that could go wrong with the Packers. Between injuries, bad calls and dropped balls, there’s really nothing that the Packers could do. Sometimes people and teams are just victims of bad luck. With bad luck, there comes frustration and it normal to feel frustrated when things aren’t going your way. Maybe Matt LaFleur is what the Packers need in order to change their luck and get back to the Super Bowl in 2020 NFL preview.

Bet On Seahawks to Win Super Bowl

Looking to bet on Seahawks to win Super Bowl? How about just betting on the Super Bowl winner? The Seattle Seahawks finished last season with a 10-6 record, which was good enough for second place in the NFC West and a playoff berth.

Despite their success, the team has had an intriguing offseason that will either keep them in playoff contention or hurt them.

One of the team’s biggest priority going into the offseason was to agree to terms on a new deal with quarterback Russell Wilson, who ended up signing a $140 million contract extension. While they took care of their quarterback, they also did him a disservice by letting his favorite target Doug Baldwin walk in free agency.

Earl Thomas, who was looking for a contract extension before the start of last season and eventually missed the rest of the season after suffering an injury in September, also left in free agency, signing with the Baltimore Ravens. Frank Clark, who finished with 13 sacks last season was traded to the Kansas City Chiefs for the Chiefs’ first and third round picks in the 2019 NFL Draft.

Bet On Super Bowl Winner 2020

Bet On Seahawks to Win Super Bowl

The Seahawks were able to sign former Detroit Lions defensive end Ziggy Ansar to replace Clark, but Ansar is five years older and hasn’t played a full season since 2016. He finished with four sacks in seven games last year. The Seahawks also brought in defensive ends Cassius Marsh and Nate Orchard to give them some depth at the position. Still want to bet on Seahawks to win Super Bowl 2020?

Seattle also used its first two pick in the draft on defense, selecting former TCU defensive end L.J. Collier in the first round and former Utah safety Marquise Blair in the second round. If you’re still looking to bet on the Super Bowl winner for 2020 then get in line. Current betting sites have Super Bowl 2020 winner odds at an all-time high.

While the team addressed most of its defensive holes, the offense is still a work in progress. Tyler Lockett, who had 57 catches for 965 yards and 10 touchdowns, will be expected to have a bigger role in the offense. The team also drafted former Ole Miss receiver DK Metcalf to give them depth at the position.

The Seahawks should have a very good defense this season, but there are too many question marks on the offensive end, which is why they will likely finish second or third in the NFC West. Their odds to win the Super Bowl is +2500. You may bet on Seahawks to win Super Bowl at the above sites.

Chicago Bears Kicker Problems

Chicago Bears kicker problems continue to grow. What does this mean for the Chicago Bears kicking this season?

The Chicago Bears have been in the market for a kicker since Cody Parkey’s missed kicks cost them in the playoffs last season. Even though they have two kickers on the team, it doesn’t look like they are happy with what they have seen so far because general manager Ryan Pace told reporters that the team would be keeping an eye on the kicking competitions that will take place around the league.

“We’re watching all the teams, all the competitive situations around the league — one of them will be kicker,” Pace said. “We’re just watching that progress as we go forward. We know right now where we stand, where some of those battles are occurring. We’re watching those. And I’m sure there will be ones that will pop up that might surprise us.”

After parting ways with Parkey, the Bears had a massive tryout with eight different players. They eventually cut the number of kickers down to three, but each of the kickers they kept struggled to convert kicks from 43 yards or more, which was the problem they had with Parkey.

Chicago Bears Kicking An Issue

Chicago Bears Kicker Problems

At one point, Bears’ fans were hoping the team would bring back former kicker Robbie Gould, who spent the last two seasons with the San Francisco 49ers after he was let go by the Bears. Gould and the 49ers were at a contract impasse, which made a move back to Chicago seem likely. However, both sides were able to come to an agreement last week, which ended any hopes the Bears’ fans had.

After a poor performance during mini-camp, the Bears released Chris Blewitt, leaving Elliott Fry and Eddy Pineiro as the only kickers on the team. With training camp starting this week, the Bears are hoping either Fry or Pineiro will step up and establish themselves as the team’s opening-day kicker.

“We need to figure out this position, right? We need to understand it’s a crucial spot first we’ve got to get right,” Nagy said. “I think the more opportunities that you have for these guys to prove who they are and what they could do, we’ll take ’em.

“So there may be some questionable play-calls in the preseason. I’ll just leave it at that and we’ll go from there.”

Titans Linebacker Plans On Retiring Before Super Bowl

Tennessee Titans linebacker Derrick Morgan announced his plans to retire from the before Super Bowl 2020 at the age of 30. Derrick spent his nine-year career playing for the Titans. Morgan was selected with the 16th pick of the 2010 NFL Draft. He finished his career with 305 tackles and 44.5 sacks.

Last season, Morgan played out the final year of the four-year $27 million deal he signed in 2014. Playing thirteen games and missing three games because of injuries. Even though his retirement may come as a surprise to a lot of people, Morgan said he had an inclination that his time in the league was coming to an end. Titans faithful would disagree.

“My purpose in life is bigger than the game,” Morgan told ESPN. “What football taught me was the power of influence. My goal is to create better and more meaningful opportunities for marginalized communities. This to break the cycles of generational poverty. Also, build greater wealth and economic mobility. I feel a deep responsibility to leverage my platform for this.”

Morgan also posted a message on Twitter, saying, “I’ve always said 2 things about my career. 1. I would play as long as it made sense. And 2. I wanted to leave the game on my OWN terms. And over 9 years, 5 head coaches, 9 surgeries and seeing a locker room turn over multiple times I am thankful to say that I accomplished both of those goals.”

During his playing career, Morgan was involved in real estate and other business ventures. He plans on expanding his impact in his community with a large project in his hometown of Coatesville, Pennsylvania.

With his decision to retire before the start of the upcoming season, Morgan joins former teammate Brian Orokpo, who decided to retire in December, as the second Titans linebacker to retire this offseason. The Titans will have a new look this season.

Washington Redskins Alex Smith Makes First Public Comments

Washington Redskins quarterback Alex Smith suffered a gruesome injury that forced him to miss the last eight games of the regular season and has prevented him from resuming football activity since.

During an appearance on Oh My Goff podcast, Alex Smith made his first public remarks since the injury and told host Angie Goff that he still wants to play football.

“That’s the plan,” he told Goff on her Oh My Goff podcast, which was published Friday. “There are steps I’ve got to conquer before I get there. … Learning to run again. That’s a big one. I’m already throwing. Throwing isn’t a problem, but dropping [back], moving around, change of direction.”

The 35-year-old quarterback added that he must wear the external fixator on his leg for another four to six weeks, meaning he would have worn it for about seven and a half months.

washington Redskins 2019-2020 Season Preview

Alex Smith Washington Redskins

“The steps I’m at now are lifestyle steps,” he said. “I’m still working on playing basketball with my kids and running around after my daughter. Those are things I have to conquer anyway until I get to the point where I’m walking on the field. I’m looking forward to it. I’m excited about that challenge. The stronger I get every week, the more I do, the more hopeful I am that that’s a real possibility.”

With Smith expected to miss the entire 2019 season, the Redskins selected former Ohio State quarterback Dwayne Haskins with the 15th overall pick in the NFL Draft. Haskins is expected to compete with Colt McCoy and Case Keenum for the starting position.

Even though the Redskins knew Alex Smith would not play this season and might never take the field again, the team never planned to cut him this offseason. If Haskins plays well this year, the team will have a tough choice to make at the end of the season.

Eddie Jackson Believes Chicago Bears Are The Team To Beat

The Chicago Bears surprised a lot of people last season when they finished with a 12-4 record, which was the second best record in the league. However, the team was unable to make a Super Bowl run after losing to the Philadelphia Eagles in the NFC Wild Card game.

This season safety Eddie Jackson believes the Bears are going to be better than they were last season, and added that the team will win it all this year.

“Everything — how short, and how far, we came,” Jackson told the Chicago Sun Times’ Patrick Finley when asked what will keep him motivated through the summer respite. “From the losing record to the winning record. How short we came, with the first-round playoff game with the field goal. Right now we just want to build off everything and let that be the fuel to our fire. We plan on taking this whole thing.”

Eddie Jackson also said that the Bears are going to use last year’s playoff loss as motivation because it was a game they would have won if their kicker hadn’t missed the game-winning field goal at the end of the game.

Chicago Bears Super Bowl 2020 Odds

Eddie Jackson Chicago Bears Super Bowl 2020

“The vibe is there,” Jackson said. “That will always be there. That’s not changing. You come in and you see everybody on one page, and [they] want to get things done and want to win. That will always be a great vibe.”

Jackson, who made the Pro Bowl and was also an All-Pro in his second year in the league, expects to be better than he was last season after spending the offseason watching film and getting into the best shape of his career.

“Come back and still watch film and stay on top of everything,” he said. “Just take care of your body. Relax a little bit. Don’t lose that taste for football.”

Even though Eddie Jackson is confident about his team’s chances, they will still need to get out of the NFC North, which will be tougher this season with the Green Bay Packers and Minnesota Vikings improving their roster this offseason.

Philadelphia Eagles News

The Philadelphia Eagles don’t have a lot of experience at the quarterback position. This, after allowing backup quarterback Nick Foles to leave as a free agent. Foles, led the team to their first Super Bowl.

What will this mean for Philadelphia Eagles Superbowl 2020 odds? Foles quickly signed with the Jacksonville Jaguars. Replacing former quarterback Blake Bortles. This left the Eagles with Carson Wentz and Nate Sudfeld as the only quarterbacks on the roster.

Unfortunately for the Eagles, Wentz is still recovering from his season-ending injury. Also, he told reporters last month that he was behind schedule on his rehab. Even though the team expects him to be ready for training camp. Wentz has been unable to finish the last two seasons, so the team decided to add some depth through the draft. Selecting Northwestern’s Clayton Thorson in the fifth round of the draft.

With Sudfeld having thrown 25 passes in his career and Thorson being a rookie, the Eagles were expected to bring in another veteran to compete for the backup job. This is where Cody Kessler enters.

Philadelphia Eagles Superbowl 2020

Philadelphia Eagles Superbowl 2020 Odds

According to ESPN, the Eagles have their sights on former Jaguars backup Cody Kessler, who has appeared in 17 games and thrown for 2,215 yards, eight touchdowns, and five interceptions while playing for the Jaguars and Cleveland Browns, who selected him in the third round of the 2016 NFL Draft.

However, he has a 2-10 record in 12 career starts, which might have some Eagles fans wondering if he can cut it as a starter if Wentz goes down with an injury.

Even though Kessler hasn’t put up the type of numbers that Foles did, he has put up some respectable numbers playing for two of the worst franchises in the league. With the Eagles having more depth than the Browns or Jaguars did when Kessler was on the team, the Eagles think he can step up to the plate if needed.
